Description

Nodes do not know their own public IP until they try to connect to them and discover that the instance ID is the same. At this point:

  • record the public IP in the networking state, wrapped in an option
  • display the public IP in the dashboard

Research direction
Implement the recording of the node's own public IP when it discovers it via connection attempts. Wrap the IP in an Option and store it in the networking state. Then expose it in the dashboard UI.
