Description

Main goal is to remove the dependencies to:

  • jquery
  • bootstrap-datepicker

Requirements:

  • Do not change the component api
  • Multilang
  • value is always a utc moment date without time

Contributor guide

Research direction
Study the existing datepicker component using jQuery and bootstrap datepicker. Identify the current API and usage patterns. Then design a native implementation using Aurelia's templating and binding, and utilize Moment.js for date handling and localization. Ensure the new component passes all existing tests and supports multiple languages.
