Description

What is the recommended geometry fot IfcGeotechnicalStratum ?

I attach 2 screenshots :

  1. the shape representation is a surface (IfcTriangulatedFaceSet)
  2. the shape representation is a volume (IfcFacedtedBRep + IfcClosedShell).

I assume both are correct, but which one is better ?
