Description

Where can we find api docs and schemas? It is totally unclear how to configure all the storage backends. Some examples exist but no reference docs, and no pointers as to where to find it upstream

Look for the storage configuration schema in the Loki source code, specifically in the `pkg/storage/` directory. Check upstream projects (Cortex, Thanos) for reference docs. If missing, propose adding a link to the schema or writing a brief overview.
