It would be nice if the WebAPI had ASP.NET HealthChecks

Add ASP.NET Core HealthChecks middleware to the WebAPI project. Use Microsoft.Extensions.Diagnostics.HealthChecks. Register health checks and create a health check endpoint. Optionally add custom checks for dependencies like database.
