Description
Hi, I've been using TetherFuseNet for some days and noticed that I have to restart the hotspot every 10-15 minutes for it to work again. Sometimes, pressing Stop Hostpot and Start Hotspot restores the connection, other times I have to force stop the app. Below are my settings.
Host
Phone: Oppo Find X9 Pro OS: ColorOS 16.0.3.504 (Android 16)
Host Tetherfuse Settings
Version: 66 Hotspot Type: USB Tethering (also tried WiFi hotspot) Proxy Mode: HTTP Proxy Always Alive ✓ Show Hotspot Notifications ✓ Use Wakelock ✓ Keep Screen On ✓ (I leave the screen on displaying TetherFuseNet's Hotspot tab) Power Balance: Max Performance Socket Timeout: 30 seconds Allow background activity selected for TetherFuseNet's app battery settings
Client
Laptop: ASUS Vivobook S14 Q423S OS: Windows 11 25H2 Browser: Firefox & Chrome
Do you know what can be causing this behavior? Any other troubleshooting ideas? As a side note, is there any way to keep the Proxy URL/Hostname the same after rebooting? I find that this IP changes often after rebooting the phone.
Thanks!
