Description

It would be helpful if Scribe would show users what case follows a verb in the same way that it shows which case follows a preposition. So for German a user would type a conjugation of a verb, and then after pressing space the case would be shown. This issue would also include adding a function where a user could select the verb and press the Scribe button to see the case.

  • This issue is related to scribe-org/Scribe-Data#19 as this data would be what would be implemented for this command
  • This issue might require another JSON file for languages for which this feature is needed that’s indexed with all conjugations of verbs

Research direction
Extend the existing preposition case feature to verbs. Investigate how the preposition case is currently displayed after pressing space, and replicate for verbs. Check Scribe Data issue #19 for required verb case data. Implement a new JSON structure or modify existing to include verb conjugations and their cases. Add Scribe button functionality for selected verbs.
