Description

It would be nice to provide a .app for OSX, a .desktop for Gnome, and handle Windows installations. This should be usable by a non-technical user.

Research direction
Investigate Electron packaging tools like electron builder or electron packager to create .app for macOS, .desktop for Linux, and an installer for Windows. Follow existing documentation and examples for multi platform packaging.
